This drawing in red chalk is a copy after a figure on the right of the composition by Rubens, Head of Cyrus Brought to Queen Tomyris, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The figure drawn in the reverse direction from the painting was probably made after the engraving by Paul Pontius.
